Entry-Level Maintenance Technician

Actively seeking several full-time, entry-level maintenance technicians to join our team in the Springfield area!

This position consists of but is not limited to, the proven ability to meet our groundskeeper job requirements, assisting other maintenance staff with grounds, displaying customer service skills, breezeway housekeeping duties, common area maintenance, snow and ice removal, service requests, and completing the make-ready process. Candidates should display the ability to use their time wisely and efficiently.

In addition to the above duties, other responsibilities can include:

• Pool

  • Vacuum

  • Test chemicals

  • Back wash

  • Maintain a clean working pool

• Paint, minor drywall patches, caulking

• Replace door knobs, dead bolts

• Electrical

  • Install light fixtures, ceiling fans, remove and replace outlets and switches

  • Replace emergency lights and bulbs

• Plumbing

  • Plunge a waste line

  • Remove a toilet for vinyl install

• Prep floors for vendors

  • Remove carpet, pad and staples

  • Scrape vinyl, remove underlayment as needed

Pay scale is subject to changes due to unforeseen circumstances and is to be set by Senior Management. Position may be adjusted from Hourly to Salary.
